Passage: 1 Corinthians 3:1-23, 2 Timothy 1:7
Service Type:

Something begins to happen when we think in terms of “teams.” Football season has officially kicked off and everywhere you go, team jerseys are proudly on display. Regardless of whether or not you know the person you are passing on the street, there is an automatic sense of connection between the two of you when you're wearing the same jersey. You don't just attend or watch the games on television but you're actually buying into something to which you belong. If we think about the church in terms of being part of the team, we realize that it's not just about showing up every Sunday, but actually about becoming a connected and active member of the bigger picture.
