Our God Story started over 3 ½ years ago with the loss of employment. The journey through unemployment to self-employment has not been easy to say the least, but the lessons learned along the way have been life changing and faith building.
One day while washing the dishes the Lord spoke clearly to my heart and asked, “How can you believe me for the big things if you can’t believe me for the dish soap?” I knew this was not so much of a question as a gentle rebuke of my lack of faith. We began to trust God in a deeper way reaching out in faith. The Lord began to provide both the ‘big’ and the ‘small’ and all along the way we began to learn a few very important lessons.
1.God cares about the details of our lives
2.The small things are the big things
3.The big things have a way of working themselves out through faith
Recently I received a phone call and was offered an incredible job in my specific area of training. We are so thankful to say that through all of this, God has shown Himself faithful even when our faith seemed to be running thin. We can always count on Him! The current job I have brings in more money then any previous employment ever has. WE can truly say that Psalm 54:4 has become our families life verse.
“Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.”
